Dr. Seuss Day Fun

Chadron Primary Students were treated to Dr. Seuss day fun in the forms of Seuss activities and reading from Mrs. Waugh's 8th grade students.  The children all had a great time celebrating Dr. Seuss day and we want to thank everyone who helped make this day so fun!

Penny Carnival Highlights

Chadron Primary School hosted its third annual Penny Carnival last Friday night; students and families enjoyed snacks, game booths, and the cake walk throughout the night while earning stamps for Legos.  It was wonderful to see all of our families enjoy time together and we want to thank all of the parents, volunteers, and helpers who organized and ran the Penny Carnival.  Our Parent Involvement group did much of the planning and coordination to make the event a success and we want to thank all involved in those monthly meetings.  We also want to thank our afterschool program Just for Kids

Love is in the Air at Chadron Primary School

Valentine's Day at Chadron Primary School was filled with gratitude and love all day long!  Teachers were given Valentines from students who wrote special notes and the teachers' lounge was also decorated with hearts of gratitude thanks to Mrs. Landreth's Kindergarten class.  Valentine's Day parties were filled with fun, snacks, activities, and even balloon animals in Mrs. Hoffman's classroom thanks to a visit by some special grandparents.  Thank you to all of the families who helped with snacks and supervision!

Battle of the Box Tops

Just a reminder that our Battle of the Box Tops ends February 28th.  We will be collecting Box Tops until the 28th and encourage you to bring those to Chadron Primary School.  The money we receive from the Box Tops reimbursement goes toward playground balls and supplies.  Thank you for your help in collecting the Box Tops.

December

Chadron Primary School had some more outstanding students who were wonderful examples to other students.  These kiddos were able to have breakfast in the teachers' lounge with Principal Uhing and we all visited about the above and beyond good choices they had made in following the Cardinal Rules and being good citizens.  Well done on your good behavior and we are excited for all you become!
