$15 Fan Bus this Saturday (44 Passenger Limit)

Thank you Boosters!!!

The Chadron Booster Club is providing a Fan Bus for this Saturday’s District Volleyball game in North
Platte where the Lady Cardinals will compete against Malcolm with the winner advancing to the State
Tournament the following week.

We will have a 44 passenger bus that will leave the Chadron Middle School parking lot on Saturday,
Nov. 2nd at 9:00am. This will be a direct trip to North Platte High School and back. Estimated return time
is around 8:30pm. 

Dr. Winchester Awarded Excellence in Education Award in Chicago

“We are celebrating Dr. Caroline Winchester who has served as the Superintendent of Chadron Public Schools for the past nine years and students for 36 years as an educator and leader.

of Dr. Caroline Winchester, Superintendent of Schools. We are grateful for
Dr. Winchester's service to Chadron Public Schools and wish her well in her future

CHS Sophomore Luke Kahl Selected for All-State Band

Luke KahlCongratulations to Chadron High Sophomore, Luke Kahl!  He was selected as one of 8 Tuba players for the 2019 All-State Band by the Nebraska Music Education Association.He will perform with the All-State Band at the conclusion of the NMEA Clinic from November 21-23rd.

2019 Chadron HS Homecoming Activities

Chadron High School’s Student Council has been preparing for 2019 Homecoming since the end of the
last school year. Now that the celebration is right around the corner, they are excited to announce what
festivities will occur during the week of September 23 through the 27thDRESS UP DAYSThroughout the week, there will be a daily dress-up theme that gives students and staff the opportunity
to show their Cardinal Pride. This year, Student Council will be giving shoutouts to the Best Dressed on

CHS Ag Students Competed in Range Judging

Chadron High School  Ag Ed students competed Tuesday near Sidney in the Area 1 range judging contest put on each year across the state by area NRCS agencies.  Chadron’s Highest scoring team was the junior team comprised of Luke Kahl, Sophia Wess, Caden Galbraith and Kourtney Hawk earning fourth place overall. Luke Kahl  was the high placing individual with second place overall in the competition. These four along with Teagan Tidymann and Leah Weber will be representing Chadron at the state range judging contest, held next Wednesday near Atkinson Nebraska.
