Chadron Intermediate School will participate in a lockdown drill on Monday morning (March 12th). It is important to practice for all types of emergencies so that all stakeholders know the procedures. No-one will be allowed in or out of the building during that time. We will have local law enforcements on site to help with this drill along with other first responders.
On March 14, 2018 at 10 AM, there is a planned, nationwide, 17-minute voluntary school walkout to
show solidarity with the victims of school shootings. Chadron Public School (CPS) students who choose
to participate in the walkout will be allowed to do so and parents are more than welcomed to join their child.
CPS is not organizing the walkout; however, school staff will provide student supervision during the walkout
Chadron Public Schools will have an early dismissal tomorrow, March 7th.
Students and Staff will be on Spring Break (March 8-11). School begins again on Monday, March 12th.
Enjoy some quality time with your family!
Chadron Intermediate is out first: 1:15!
The Chadron community is invited to attend a strategic planning meeting to be held at Central Office on Feb. 21st @ 6:30p. The meeting will focus on CPS Activities.
This strategic planning meeting will be similar to the strategic planning meetings that were held a few years ago regarding Fine Arts. The results of those meetings were fruitful and ultimately led to more music and art opportunities for our students.
Chadron Public Schools is conducting a survey in preparation for the 2018-19 Accreditation Cycle.
We value your opinion and ask that you take the time to participate. If you have a student in more than one building, it would be beneficial if a survey was completed for each. You may also pick a building of your choice and complete a survey for only that building.
Please be assured that your responses to this survey will be anonymous and your honest opinion is appreciated.

We will start this week off by making marshmallow blasters and playing four square in the gym.
