While the NeSA (Nebraska State Assessment ) data picture is one of success, we still have challenges. Therefore, our district will continue to drill deeper into the data. Nebraska schools and those across the country are facing significant challenges as they work to close achievement gaps. 2013 results on the ACT college entrance exam, standardized tests (NWEA MAPS) tell their own story. Our students have consistently scored higher than other Nebraska districts, as well as across the nation.

Our district remains steadfast in our efforts to prepare students for a future that many in education will never see. Our district continues to focus on teaching children to read, so they can read to learn and increase the vigor of courses. Chadron Public Schools will continue to make decisions because they are right for students, not because they are the easiest, cheapest or most popular. Recognition goes out to ALL staff and STUDENTS in the Chadron Public Schools who strive to make it a positive learning environment and continue to hold high expectations!
